Computer maker Acer has laid out its first tablet computers. This lineup will include a windows 7 tablet and 2 android devices. The sizes of these tablet computers are believed to range from 7 inches to 10.1 inches. Acer also revealed one of the features of iconia which uses dual touch screens. These devices are expected to be launched in early 2011.
One Android tablet is believed will have a 7-inch screen, while the other tablet will have a 10.1-inch screen. The Windows tablet however will only have the 10.1-inch screen.
It is not clear on whether or not the computer tablet from Acer will be a success as the iPad had been after its introduction to the public. Many analysts are still torn on the question.
The tablets have capacitative touch screens, 13.3 millimeters thick, has a high gloss finished aluminum case. It has WI-FI and 3g internet connectivity options.
The large tablets are believed to be especially designed for high definition as well as 3d usage in games and other digital entertainment.
The Acer’s 7-inch Android tablet has a resolution of about 1280 x 800 pixels. It has a front high definition camera that allows its users to take pictures as well as having video chats.
